The avengers trailer is the most viewed trailer in history with 216,775,860b. The video starts off with a lo ng establishing shot with introduces us to an alien planet. This is interesting because we are filled with questions such as what planet this is who lives here and what will happen to the planet in the movie. The next shot is a medium close up it shows Tony stark on the floor which makes us assume that something bad has happened because it looks like he is crying which may lead us to assume that someone close to him dies. The next shots sl owly build up to show the whole team coming together which could show the avengers uniting together as one. The voice over of the whole trailer along with the parallel sound is used very well because it helps to add an e motional touch to the video because the avengers are speaking as if it could be their last fight together as a team which makes us think that someone could die. Three Colours: Blue The director has done a good job showing the main characters expressions he has used a variety of shots such as close ups and extreme close ups to make sure the audience sees how he is reacting. Minor details can be seen when close ups are used which builds up to the disruption that occurs. If helps the audience to understand whats happening without any dialogue or voice over. The extreme close ups help the audience get an idea of what the setting is if theres is a scared face we know that thee is probably something bad happening.
